Hanna Atwood, M.A.

Rollout Representative

Hanna is passionate about her work in education and energized by providing others with the tools they need to lead fulfilling, purposeful lives. Hanna’s interest in The Contentment Foundation stems from her personal experience as a teacher observing the daily void of emotional and wellness support for students, teachers, and families.

Hanna launched her career in education as a Teach For America corps member in Denver, CO. She began teaching Special Education at a charter school, and taught an array of different ages and subjects over the following years. She earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado, with a focus on Social and Emotional Intelligence in Global Education. Hanna then moved to The Bahamas to teach Environmental Art at The Island School, an experiential education semester school.

In 2018 Hanna joined Summits Education, a non-profit that serves a network of 40 schools and 10,000 students in the Central Plateau region of Haiti. As Director of Engagement, Hanna works closely with the team based in Haiti to best meet the holistic needs of the students in Haiti.

Hanna has a drive for social justice and wants to play her part in making the world a safer and healthier place where people of different backgrounds have access to equal opportunities. She is committed to continual discovery and learning in her personal wellness practices and is increasingly drawn to the intersection of wellbeing and education.
