Christie Smith is the global lead for Talent & Organization/Human Potential at Accenture. She is a member of the Global Management Committee and is an Accenture Executive Pride Sponsor, representing and promoting LGBTIQ+ equality at the highest level of the organization.
Christie joined Accenture in 2020 from Apple, where she was global vice president for Inclusion & Diversity (I&D). She has also served as interim CHRO at Grail, a start-up cancer detection company, and was a principal and national Human Capital leader at Deloitte Consulting. She received her doctorate in Clinical Social Work with a focus on industrial and organizational psychology from New York University.
A sought-after speaker on leadership, strategy, ID&E, people and change, Christie has spoken at major conference events and been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes and CNN. She has won several awards and has been recognized as a Top 50 Diversity Leader (2020), a leader in Fast Company’s Queer 50 list (2021), and a Top 100 Outstanding LGBT+ Executive Role Model (2022). She lives in Seattle, Washington, with her wife and their two children.
